Kantor Steps in for Kudisch in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang

While Tony-nominated actor Marc Kudisch is on leave to do See What I Wanna See at the Public Theater, Kenneth Kantor is set to portray Baron Bomburst in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Kantor will play the part from September 24 through November 27.

Kantor usually plays Lord Scrumptious in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and understudies the role of the Baron. During the period Kudisch is away, and Kantor is on as Baron Bomburst, ensemble member Kurt von Schmittou will play Lord Scrumptious. Kantor's other Broadway credits include The Grand Tour, Brigadoon, Mame, Me and My Girl, The Phantom of the Opera, Guys and Dolls and A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum.

In addition to Kudisch, the cast of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang includes Raul Esparza, Erin Dilly, Philip Bosco, Kevin Cahoon, Jan Maxwell, Robert Sella and Chip Zien.
